TW 6000
TW 6000
Since 1974 the green vehicles of type TW 6000 are in operation. The 28,28 metres long and 2,40 metres wide vehicles replaced train by train the traditional tramways and were the first rails in Hanover. Until 1993 a total of 260 eight-axle vehicles were purchased for the combined use within the underground and tramway system. Due to the striking colour, „the Green Ones“ helped to shape the townscape of Hanover.
