From Monday, May, 11th, 2020, all ÜSTRA buses and trams will operate due to the regular schedule again. Until then the special time table is still valid.
With regards to the current development of the coronavirus ÜSTRA is already taking preventative action to ensure the health of its passengers and employees. ÜSTRA is in regular contact with the medical crisis team of the Region Hannover to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
The special timetables explained about are valid from Monday till Saturday.
On Sundays: From start to end of service every 30 minutes.
Except Lane 10, which comes also on Sundays every 15 minutes.
All buses run according to the Saturday schedule. Exceptions:
Lane 124: Runs additionally to the end of lane "Laatzen/Ulmer Straße" and back. Please use online journey planner for your precise journey.
Lane 126: Runs accordingly to the monday-friday-schedule.
Lane 135: Departs every 30 minutes from "Paracelsusweg" respectively "Stöcken"
Lane 253: Runs accordingly to the monday-friday-schedule. Except the ride at 5:50 a.m. from "Langenhagen/Bahnhof Mitte" - this is cancelled.
Lane 480: Runs additionaly every hour towards Garbsen.
On Saturday the applies the normal Saturday timetable. The Sunday timetable continues to apply on Sundays.
There will be no night star transport on Fridays and Saturdays starting from March, 20th
There is a special accommodating arrangement for subscribers of the GVH monthly pass. If you maintain your subscription currently or you re-subscribe until June, you will get a 20 percent discount on your monthly passes for June, July and August.
Please understand that with the current developments of the corona virus, the GVH and the transportation companies need to focus on maintaining the public transport and keeping their passengers and employees safe.
The ÜSTRA customer centre in Hanover City (Karmarschstraße 30/32) continues it’s regular service. Opening hours are from Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to 8 pm and Saturdays from 9.30 am till 6 pm. In order to avoid large number of visitors, ÜSTRA recommends to buy tickets using the GVH app or stationary vending machines.
All vehicles operated by ÜSTRA are already subjected to a thorough cleaning procedure on a daily basis. This includes sweeping the vehicles and an in-depth moist cleaning of all surfaces which passengers may come into contact with (e.g. straps, poles, etc.).
Besides this, the doors of all buses and trains open automatically.
