Barrier-free ÜSTRA

Reduced mobility can mean many things: Whether blind or visually impaired, whether traveling with wheelchair, walking frame or pushchair – we make the use of buses and trams as easy as possible for you. Thus we support you in your mobility and pay particular attention to accessibility standards in our vehicles and at stops because we want you to reach your destination quickly and comfortably.

City railway

The ÜSTRA city railways are as well designed for persons with limited mobility and visually impaired persons as well.

City Bus

Most modern technology enables travelling by bus as well for passengers with impaired mobility.

Railway stops

High-level platforms, tactile guidance system and Braille in the stations ensure that everybody can be mobile within the local traffic.

Our journey planner helps passengers with impaired mobility to plan their journey by bus and rail reliably: In addition to the starting point and destination you can define different accessibility criteria while looking for the best connection. The online inquiry takes into account the customer's personal requirements and offers an individual journey planning.
