Bicycles and public transport – a perfect combination! Are you planning a trip to the countryside or just want to cover part of the journey by bike? No problem – simply take your bike with you on our buses and trains! All transport companies in the ÜSTRA transport area offer special storage spaces for bikes in their vehicles.
Traveling by bike: be considerate and share the space
Bikes are welcome on all our modes of transport, but mutual consideration is essential.
Please note: people with wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers always have priority over bikes – on all our modes of transport. This means that you may not be able to continue your journey as planned in order to allow people with mobility aids or strollers to board.
In rail transport (with the exception of city and suburban trains), there are usually separate areas for wheelchairs and bicycles. Please look for the corresponding symbols on the doors to find the correct boarding area.
