Increased Fare Penalty (EBE)
Were you found traveling without a valid ticket and received a payment notice from our staff?
Payment by Bank Transfer
To keep the process as simple as possible, we kindly ask you to transfer the increased fare of €60 to the following account, stating the case number, within 14 days from the date of issue:

Please adhere to this deadline; otherwise, a dunning procedure will be initiated, resulting in additional costs for you.
Payment in Cash
You also have the option to pay the amount in person and in cash. Within 14 days, you can also present your valid personal season ticket or valid customer card here, in case you did not have it with you during the inspection. In this case, the payable amount is reduced to €7.

For all passengers: An objection to the ÜSTRA’s claim must be submitted in writing within 14 days to:

If there are no grounds for objection, all passengers can settle the increased fare penalty or the processing fee within 14 days either by bank transfer or in person at the ÜSTRA Service Center. By the way, tickets are also available at the ÜSTRA Service Center.
