The Deutschlandticket is available nationwide for 58.00 euros per month and can only be purchased as a monthly subscription that can be cancelled at any time.

ÜSTRA offers the Deutschlandticket as a subscription. If you would like to use the ticket as a mobile ticket in the ÜSTRA app, you need to apply by the 20th of the month in order to travel the following month.

If you prefer to use the Deutschlandticket on the ÜSTRA chip card, you must complete your order by the 1st of the previous month to be able to travel the following month.

For private customers, orders for a mobile ticket must currently be placed by the 20th of the month prior to the month of use. Orders for chip card tickets must be submitted by the 1st of the previous month.

How to order the mobile ticket in detail:

• Order the Deutschlandticket conveniently online via subscription. During the ordering process, check the box “I want to cancel my existing subscription” and enter your subscription number in the free text field.
• If you haven’t done so already, download the ÜSTRA app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Register in the ÜSTRA app using the same email address you provided when ordering the Deutschlandticket.
• Log in to the ÜSTRA app. Your ticket will be displayed in the app at the latest 48 hours before the first day of validity.

Important: Please use the same email address when placing your order and registering in the app, so that we can correctly assign your ticket.

People who hold a Deutschlandticket can use all local and regional public transport services throughout Germany. This includes buses, trains, and regional rail services across the country, on-demand services such as sprinti, and, in some cases, ferries. The ticket is valid only with participating companies.

Long-distance trains such as IC, ICE, and FlixTrain, as well as purely tourist transport services (e.g., cable cars), cannot be used unless they are part of the public transport network.

However, the Deutschlandticket is valid on the route Bremen Hbf – Norddeich Mole/Emden-Außenhafen on IC/EC trains.

Yes, you can order a ÜSTRA chip card for using the Deutschlandticket via the subscription service.

You can conveniently cancel your Deutschlandticket (except for the Deutschlandticket Job, Deutschlandticket Hannover Job, and Deutschlandticket Hannover Job 100) online by the 10th of a month to end the subscription at the end of that month. When canceling, you need to enter your current subscription number, which you can find on your ticket.

A prerequisite for participating in the direct debit scheme for the Deutschlandticket subscription is having a European bank account that is authorized for SEPA direct debit transactions.
