Monthly pass 1. class Regional tariff

With the Monthly pass 1. class Regional tariff, you are also mobile on rail routes in the counties around the Hanover region and can also travel in 1st class for a uniform surcharge of 75,00 euros (one to three zones) and in the amount of 116,10 euros (four to six zones). Not only do you enjoy free travel on suburban and many regional trains – you can also use the buses and trains in the ÜSTRA tariff area.

  • Ticket price for 1 Zone: 154,10 €

    Valid for the zone E, but only on the route from Bückeburg via Kirchhorsten to Stadthagen.

  • Ticket price for 2 Zones: 180,90 €

    Valid for the zones C and D, or valid for the zones D and E, but only on the route from Bückeburg via Kirchhorsten and Stadthagen to Lindhorst.

  • Ticket price for 3 Zones: 204,70 €

    Valid for the zones B and C and D, or valid for the zones C und D und E.

  • Ticket price for 4 Zones: 279,70 €

    Valid for the zones A to D, or valid for the zones B to E, or valid for the zones C to F.

  • Ticket price for 5 Zones: 314,00 €

    Valid for the zones A to E, or valid for the zones B to F.

  • Ticket price for 6 Zones: 348,30 €

    Valid for the zones A to F.

The zones A, B and C cover the entire tariff area for all passengers – regardless of whether they use Single tickets, Day tickets or Monthly passes. Each tariff zone has its own colour, which is used always in connection with the corresponding zone designation.

  • In the regional tariff, the three tariff zones D, E and F outside are added to the three ÜSTRA tariff zones. This means you can also travel from the districts around the Hannover region to the ÜSTRA fare zone or vice versa with just one ticket. In the regional fare zones, you can travel on trains operated by railroad companies. Please note that the regional fare is only valid for season tickets. Ticket validity

  • Price levels

    • For one, two, three, four, five or six zones: in addition to the three ÜSTRA tariff zones (A, B and C) the Regional tariff covers the zones D, E and F
  • Vehicles

    • For all buses and trams within the ÜSTRA tariff area (ABC) and the suburban and regional trains (RB, RE) in the zones A-F
  • Interval

    • From the 1st chosen day of validity until 05:00 a.m. at the same day of the following month (example 17th May to 17th June 05:00 a.m.)
  • Person

    • Non-personalised, 1 person
    • Also for one co-travelling adult and up to three children under the age of 18 at the weekends and public holidays the whole day long and from Monday to Friday from 07:00 p.m. until 05:00 a.m. of the following day, (grand)children up to the age of 18 who can prove that they belong to the cardholder's family can be taken along in unlimited numbers, instead of one adult or one child, a maximum of one dog can be taken along free of charge

More information

  • The Monthly pass 1. class Regional tariff can be transferred to another person.
  • On train journeys between Hanover and Alfeld, Celle, Elze, Nienburg or Peine you can as well use IC trains of the Deutsche Bahn with the Monthly pass 1. class Regional tariff. In this case you need to pay an additional IC fee at the DB vending machines, in the DB travel centres or in the subscription centre of the Deutsche Bahn.
  • Journeys within the Regional tariff must at least cover the zones C and D (exemptions are journeys in the district of Schaumburg between Bückeburg and Stadthagen (zone E) and between Bückeburg and Lindhorst (zones DE)).

  • In the city of Hildesheim and the district of Hildesheim: the "Monatskarte Mobil (Azubi)" and the subscription of the ROSA tariff association

    The Monthly pass education subscription Regional tariff for apprentices is valid beyond the borders of the ÜSTRA tariff area.

    The Monthly pass 1. class is valid for one month from the selected day of validity for journeys on buses, trams and trains in the ÜSTRA tariff area and also for 1st class carriage.

  • Monthly pass subscription 1. class Regional tariff
