By2023Hanover's city centre will be completely electric

ÜSTRA is equipping its entire inner-city bus service with electric buses by 2023. Just like the light rail vehicles, which have been running on 100% CO2-free electricity from renewable energy sources since 2015, the new e-buses will also be CO2-neutral. They also save on particulate matter, noise and nitrogen oxide emissions. In this way, ÜSTRA is ensuring a higher quality of life and stronger climate protection in Hanover.

Hydrogen-powered vehicles are also planned for 2023. The completely climate-neutral construction of the new depot in Ronnenberg represents another part of the sustainability of the ecological tire footprint. In this way, regiobus is permanently reducing local emissions such as pollutants and noise.
