Accessibility Statement
This digital accessibility statement applies to the “ÜSTRA easy” mobile app (CiBo system).
ÜSTRA Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe AG is committed to ensuring that its digital application is accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG).
Status of compliance with requirements
The application is currently partially compliant with the requirements of the BFSG in conjunction with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
The content listed below is not currently fully accessible:

Registration: Checkbox for terms of use not marked as required.
Reason: Technical coordination with the identity provider has not yet been finalised.

Reason: Native system controls are beyond our control.
Remedy: Cannot be adapted due to system constraints.

Reason: Line breaks are not technically possible in dropdowns.
Remedy: Evaluation of alternative displays.

Reason: Behaviour caused by WebView.
Remedy: Monitoring of technological developments.

Keyboard usability of the application is limited.

Ongoing improvement
ÜSTRA is constantly working to improve digital accessibility. Any shortcomings identified are assessed as a matter of priority and – where technically and economically feasible – rectified in stages.

Conciliation procedure
If you are not satisfied with the response received via the contact details above, you may submit an application to the Conciliation Board, established by the State Commissioner for People with Disabilities in Lower Saxony, to initiate a conciliation procedure in accordance with the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act (NBGG).
The Conciliation Board under Section 9d NBGG is responsible for resolving disputes between people with disabilities and public bodies in the State of Lower Saxony concerning accessibility in IT. The conciliation procedure is free of charge. There is no need to engage legal counsel.
